A brief history
The history of TMS connects the roots of the industrial revolution and today’s demands of the economy of change.
1866. In Mannheim, the forerunner of today's TÜV is created, with the mission to "make progress safe";
1949. "Jugoinspekt", a control organization with the greatest tradition in the region, is formed;
1990. A joint venture between TÜV Bayern from Munich (60%) and Inspect from Ljubljana (Jugoinspekt) was founded in Ljubljana (Slovenia): "TÜV Bayern Sava doo";
2001. TÜV Bayern Sava established TÜV Bayern Sava Representative Office in Belgrade (root of TMS CEE)
2010. TÜV SÜD AG from Munich forms a daughter company, TÜV SÜD Serbia doo, by acquiring a control organization and merging the Belgrade Representative Office;
2013. Management Buy-Out (MBO). TÜV SÜD Serbia doo changes its name to TMS CEE doo;
2022. TMS CEE doo begins cooperation also with TÜV NORD and other world leaders in TIC
